On Sept. 9 FBLA hosted their second annual “Parking Lot Party” before the coronation ceremony. The party had free food, games, music, and a dunk tank. The appeal of the dunk tank was to knock teachers into the water. The teachers who volunteered to be in the dunk tank and raise money for FBLA were Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Osborn, Mr. Gregg, and Mr. Cihak. FBLA members provided the chips and pop, Dr. Mortensen supplied cotton candy, Mr. Falk and Mr. Cihak prepared the burgers and brats, and Ms. Becker played the music.
“I thought the middle school and high school turnout was very solid in relation to last year. The block party has turned into an event for students and faculty to have some fellowship and to enjoy coronation. Fun was had by all,” FBLA adviser Mr. Gregg stated.
