On Tuesday, June 9^th, Avantara residents took advantage of the sunny day to go fishing at Redfield Lake. The sun was high. The temperature was warm, with a breeze of about 15 mph. About a dozen residents, and 8 staff and volunteers, spent time fishing. Pizza was ordered for lunch. Somewhere between 30 and 50 fish were caught. They were mostly bullheads, with 1 carp. Staff expressed how good it was that everyone was able to get out and fish. They hoped to be able to do it again soon. One happy fellow said it was “Almost like Heaven” to be out on that fishing dock on a sunny day.
