Funeral services for Terry Dame, 66, of Mobridge will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge. Visitation will start at 5 PM Thursday with a prayer service at 7 PM  at the funeral home. Terry passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

   Terry Addison Dame was born June 2nd, 1956 in Mobridge, SD to Addison (Spud) & Sheila (Ochner) Dame. He attended school in Mobridge and later obtained his GED. 

   He married Sharon McGill on February 16th, 1980 in Mobridge. They lived in Mobridge, Idaho, Watertown, & Aberdeen. From their union they had 3 children: Teresa, Justin, and Kristen. 

   He worked for Mobridge Street Department, state department, Twin City Fan & Aerovent, Walworth County Landfill, Wakpala School, and Runnings. 

   In 2002, Terry met Patti Stewart while working at Wakpala School. They married on July 23rd, 2005 in Mobridge.  

    He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Terry enjoyed restoring older vehicles, sneaking treats to animals and going to the movies. He enjoyed collecting John Wayne and his movies.

    Terry is survived by his wife Patti, daughter Teresa Dame(special friend Dave) of Mobridge, son Justin (Stephanie) Dame of Mobridge,  daughter Kristen (Kahle) Dame of Rapid City, and step son Joel Stewart (Special Friend Jenna) of Mobridge; grandchildren AJ, Ella, Logan and Xavier; greatly missed by his dogs and grand dogs Pippen, Bella, Josie, Ann, Juno, Saben, Lottie, & Lola; siblings Wade (Deb) Dame of Doyle, LA, Jaci Dame of Aberdeen, Joe (Missy) Dame of Watertown; numerous nieces and nephews. Father in-law Ken Stewart. 

    Preceded in death by his parents Spud and Sheila Dame, grandson Grayson Dame, grandparents Mid & Oscar Ochner, and Harry & Ella Dame, mother-in-law BennaBee Stewart.
