New and current OLLI members can register for fall classes that will run from September through November. Subject categories include arts, expanding your mind, history, current events, health and wellness, literature, science and technology, and travel and tours.

The fall OLLI catalog features 39 classes in Brookings, 56 in Sioux Falls, 37 in Vermillion and 32 on Zoom. There is also access to OLLI National Online courses throughout the semester.

Although being geared towards retired or semi-retired individuals, OLLI welcomes adults of all ages to become members. Through OLLI, inquisitive and active adults are brought together in their communities to engage their minds and senses by continued learning for the love of it. There are no tests or grades; just fun and attaining knowledge of the world around you.

• BlackFork Farms Distillery Taste and Tour, Sept. 5 — Enjoy tasting of locally produced distillery products and a tour of the farming operation in Brandt, SD. Activity fee of $25.
• Art History for the Curious, Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30 — Study of art throughout history, beginning with the Renaissance and ending with Modern Art.
• Fall Floral Arranging, Sept. 11 — Tour of McCrory Gardens where you will select plants to make your own floral arrangement. Activity fee of $15.
• When Animal Germs Attack People: Zoonotic Diseases in the 21st Century, Sept. 12 — Discussion on current zoonotic diseases will cover bird flu, chronic wasting disease (CWD), monkeypox (mpox) and more.
• Terry Redlin Art Center Tour, Sept. 16 — Self-guided tour of the art center in Watertown then you have the option to join the group for a pay-your-own lunch at Maverik’s.
• Fall Football Fever: SDSU Two-time National Football Championship Photo Journey, Sept. 19 — Enjoy SDSU ice cream while viewing a photojournalist’s portfolio presentation and discussion of the SDSU National Championship seasons.
