LENNOX — A motorcyclist died Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 18 near Lennox.
The names of the people involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound on U.S. 18 in the left turning lane to turn northbound onto 466th Avenue. The driver of a Harley Davidson was westbound on U.S. 18. The Silverado collided with the motorcycle, ejecting the rider, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the Silverado were not injured.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
