Deanna R. Miller, age 82 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Bethany Home-Sioux Falls, SD.  Her family will be present for Visitation on Monday, December 19, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 pm at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.  Visit www.georgeboom.com for an online guestbook and video tribute.  

   Deanna Ruth Keller was born on May 2, 1940, to David and Mary (Meehan) Keller in Redfield, SD and she was raised by Ashton, SD.  In 1958, she moved to Sioux Falls, SD, and graduated from Nettleton Business College. On July 3, 1960, she married Richard E. Miller in Redfield, SD.  Deanna worked at Western Surety, Raven Industries, and IBM, retiring in 1995 at age 55.  

   Deanna enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World and to Pierre, SD at Christmas time to see the Christmas trees.  She and Richard traveled to the Black Hills frequently, even attending the Sturgis Rally and hiked to the top of Crazy Horse Monument.  They also enjoyed going camping, boating, fishing, walking, and biking.  Deanna enjoyed being a HAM radio operator, her call letters were WOSEQ.  Above all, she loved her grandchildren, spoiling them whenever she could.  One of her biggest joys was taking her grandchildren to Disney World.  

Grateful for sharing her life are her husband, Richard “Dick” Miller; daughter, Dawn (Bodie) Walker; grandchildren, Jeremy Granflaten, Shelbie Walker, and Cordell Walker, all of Sioux Falls, SD; her sister, Joyce Keller of Aberdeen, SD; and numerous other relatives and friends.

   Deanna was preceded in death by her parents.
