Robert J. Dvorak, 93, of Rapid City, SD, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022. 

   Robert “Bob” was born March 16, 1929, in Redfield, SD to Joe and Kristine (Jessen) Dvorak. He was raised on the family farm outside of Redfield. He graduated from Redfield High School. Bob married June Wall in Redfield on October 4, 1951. Shortly after, Bob served in the Army from 1951-1953 during the Korean War where he was decorated with a Purple Heart. When he returned, they farmed in Redfield until 1969 when they moved their family to Rapid City. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, bowling and golfing, and motor-homing across the nation with friends was a highlight in their retirement years. Faith and family were everything to him. Bob was grateful to God for his very long and fruitful life on Earth, and all the adventures and travels he was blessed with. Bob was most grateful for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

  Bob is survived by his wife, June; son, Robert (Aliea) of West Palm Beach; daughter, Linda (Marvin) Heggem of Harvest, AL; son, Ray (Bobbi) of Rapid City; daughter, Cindy (Todd) Wicks of Rapid City; 12 grandchildren and spouses, 33 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, 2 brothers, 2 sisters-in-law, and 1 brother-in-law.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, several in-laws, and 1 great-grandson, Coen Kenner.

   A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rapid City. 

   Robert is being laid to rest at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.
