On June 26, 2020 Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency had their annual graduation ceremony for the graduating classes. A former Redfield, SD graduate, Randall Waldner was included in the class of 2020. Waldner is a 2009 graduate of Redfield High School. He is the son of Roger and Dawn Waldner also of Redfield, SD. During the ceremony, Waldner received recognition as Chief Resident of the program for the academic year 2019-2020. He was also honored with the Outstanding Graduate Award as well as the Resident Teaching Award both voted on by his peers as well as his program faculty.
His future plans are to return to Redfield, SD to join the Redfield Clinic and Community Memorial Hospital in September 2020 to provide full scope family medicine for the entire Redfield community and surrounding areas.
