International speaker on rural and small-town business, Becky McCray, to speak in Redfield and Frankfort

Becky McCray, co-owner of a small business and cattle ranch in Northwest Oklahoma, is also an international speaker on rural topics and has been featured in The New York Times, Entrepreneur Magazine and numerous blogs and podcasts. Next week, McCray will be coming to Spink County to help inspire growth and positive change in the area. Familiar with the small-town scene after serving as a city administrator for a town with a population under 1,000 and teaching computer classes for rural businesses, McCray will first hold an evening conference, "Opening up to New Ideas," in Frankfort on March 22, 2018 at 5:30p.m.

Hosted by the Beadle and Spink Enterprise Community, the Frankfort meeting will take place at the Frankfort Fire Hall with "cocktails and conversation" at 5:30p.m., supper at 6p.m., the presentation by McCray at 6:30p.m., and group work at 7:30p.m.

Following the presentation in Frankfort, McCray will be speaking in Redfield at 5:30p.m. on March 23rd in the RHS auditorium. The Redfield presentation, titled, "If Not Me, Who?" is sponsored by Grow Spink, Inc.

"It's not about gathering ideas or building consensus," says McCray. "It's about unleashing people to take action."
