Kendra (Levtzow) Knight, daughter of Merlyn and Rose Levtzow of Rockham, SD, was recently promoted to the rank of Captain. Kendra has worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs Police Department for over 11 years. She is employed at Black Hills Health Care System, which has two medical centers located in Hot Springs and in Sturgis (Fort Meade). Kendra is also a veteran, serving on Active Duty in the United States Air Force from 2000-2005. She deployed twice overseas during her enlistment, to Saudi Arabia (2001) and Qatar (2003). Kendra was serving in Saudi Arabia when the 9/11 terror attacks occurred. Congratulation Captain Night, you've earned it!
