In honor of Redfield’s 100 year pheasant hunting legacy, the Redfield Pheasantennial Committee hired artist Robbie Jelsma of Springfield, South Dakota to paint a mural in Redfield titled “Across the Generations” depicting generations pheasant hunting together. Jelsma began the task of scraping the 30x30ft building owned by Jim Ellenson near the Chicago and Northwestern Depot early last week and finished the mural on Monday, September 16th. Redfield will celebrate its 100 year Pheasantennial on October 30th.
