Water and sewer project approved at December 3rd meeting
By Shiloh Appel
On Monday, December 3rd, the Redfield City Council approved the water and sewer project that has been publicly discussed since October 1st. Before approving the project, council members inquired whether or not modifications or changes could be made to ordinances after approval. Community Development Specialist with NECOG, Jennifer Sietsema, was called and questioned due to City Attorney Timothy Bormann's absence.
After Bormann arrived later that evening, he was asked the same question. According to both Bormann and Sietsema, it is possible to make modifications to the ordinances after approval of the project.
More on the December 3rd city council meeting and water and sewer project discussion will be included in the December 12th issue of the Redfield Press.
