On 8-4-17 the Spink County Sheriff's Office received a report of a burglary of a Redfield Church. Approximately $900 in gift cards were taken. Another church was discovered to have lost a bag of coins dedicated to send youth to camp. A 32 year old man, Ozzie Birdsong was arrested for burglary, petty theft and resisting arrest. Birdsong is incarcerated in the Beadle County Jail.
