The Redfield Carnegie Library held a Summer Reading Kick-Off Event on Tuesday afternoon, June 8th, 2021, from 5p.m. to 7p.m. at the library. The event included a petting zoo of farm animals such as goats, kittens, bunnies and even a horse. The animals tied in to the summer reading theme of “Tails and Tales”. Summer reading will begin with Activity Tuesdays which started on Tuesday, June 15th (10:30a.m.-11:30a.m.); and T(w)een Thursdays, which will begin this Thursday, July 17th (10a.m.-11a.m. for kids entering 6th-8th grade).
