Spink County EMS Center cut from budget

At the August 20, 2019 meeting of the Spink County Commissioners, the decision was announced that the $250,000 for the proposed Spink County EMS Center was cut from the county’s provisional 2020 budget.  Mike Sanger, along with three fellow EMT’s, and Adam Hansen and Jessi Lewis representing the City were present at the meeting.

The county commissioners gave the reason of their decision as based on funding needed in other areas at this time.  Such as the law enforcement center construction project and increased needs for county roads and bridges due to continued flooding.
