Spaghetti and a goat: CMH staff hold fundraiser for Relay for Life

By Shiloh Appel

On February 29th, 2018, CMH staff held a  free-will offering Spaghetti Feed event for Relay for Life. Organized by Renae Zirbel, the event not only included spaghetti, but some goat kissing as well. Yep, goat kissing.

Zirbel said she came up with the idea to provide hospital CEO Mike O'Keefe, Cindy Bichman and Dr. Matt Owens with jars in which hospital staff could place their free-will offerings. Whoever had the most money in their jar would have to kiss a furry friend — a goat brought in from the farm of Autumn Williams.

"We ended up having all three kiss the goat," said Zirbel.
