1:41 PM: Deputy investigated a hunting complaint.
3:22 PM: Report of a stolen band instrument.
3:40 PM: Deputies served court and civil papers.
3:55 PM: Deputy stopped a vehicle reported to be traveling "all over the road."
6:30 PM: Man released from Penitentiary called asking for the Sheriff.
7:24 PM: Report of a car/deer collision.
7:32 PM: 911 call from a child playing with a phone.
7:33 PM: 911 call from a man requesting a tow truck because he was high centered on a curb.
10:05 PM: Deputy discovered a Redfield business unlocked.
10:10 PM: Man reported a strong odor of natural gas.
11:15 PM: Woman wished to complain about a deputy.
11:16 PM: Multiple reports of a gas smell near a sub station.
11:59 PM: Report of a pickup chasing deer .

11-10-18
12:54 AM: Deputy stopped a pickup suspected in chasing deer.
4:06 AM: Deputy stopped a juvenile male in Redfield. Boy was taken into custody and his parent was called to pick him up.
7:29 AM: 911 call from a McLaughlin man reporting that he fell in his home.
11:52 AM: Un-intentional 911 call from a man's phone.
12:25 PM: Man reported that his mother would not leave and that she had destroyed the place.
1:12 PM: 911 call for a medical emergency in Redfield.
2:40 PM: Alarm company reported an alert at a Redfield bank. (Alarm accidentally activated)
7:14 PM: Accidental 911 call from a convenience store employee.
11:09 PM: Complaint of a pickup playing loud music in Redfield.

11-11-18
4:05 AM: 911 call from a man reporting that he was lost on a country road near Tulare and that he was cold and scared. Deputy responded.
7:53 AM: False fire alarm from burnt toast.
8:30 AM: 911 call from a man requesting that a deputy jump start his vehicle so that he was not late for church. (Request denied)
1:09 PM: Woman reported finding a bank deposit bag on her trash can.

3:12 PM: Resident reported a suspicion of someone breaking  into his home.
4:03 PM: Man called for options regarding his son that refused to listen to him.
4:53 PM: 911 call reporting a garage on fire in Redfield
5:35 PM: Man and woman in office regarding an assault.
6:39 PM: Report of keys locked inside a vehicle. (All units busy at fire)

11-12-18
3:52 AM: Deputy stopped a vehicle for not displaying license plates.
4:35 AM: Report of embers coming from the sight of a garage fire.
9:00 AM: Woman was fingerprinted for employment purposes.
10:44 AM: Deputy assisted with funeral traffic.
11:28 AM: Woman in office to complete the process for an Enhanced Concealed weapon permit.
1:40 PM: Hunting party located an Irish Setter with Kentucky tags. Owner was called.
1:49 PM: Woman reported since becoming ill she has received multiple calls soliciting medical supplies.  (Best practice is not to answer unknown numbers)
3:09 PM: Report of two large dogs running on 7th Avenue in Redfield.
5:13 PM: Woman reported that a man stole cash from her wallet.
10:11 PM: Deputy discovered a Redfield business unlocked.
11:44 PM: Rural Doland resident reported someone on their  property.

1:50 AM: Ambulance was requested for a distraught owner of a pet that was accidentally killed.
5:09 AM: Deputy transported a prisoner from Faulkton to Redfield for court.
6:58 AM: 911 call reporting that this call was not a "Human 911". Caller reported an injured deer.
8:39 AM: Sheriff sold a concealed weapon permit.
9:17 AM:  Unintended 911 call from a Spink County School.
9:27 AM: Deputy transported a prisoner held in Morton County North Dakota to Faulkton.
10:02 AM: Man reported that his semi had been stolen and that is was located in a ditch.
12:22 PM: Man on sex offender registry inquired about moving to a residence that may be too close to a safe zone.
12:58 PM: Report of a man wearing a dark shooting had trying to get into cars at a Redfield business.
1:17 PM: Woman reported a raccoon that looked sick.
1:22 PM: Deputy and ambulance assisted a woman that fell in her home.
1:36 PM: Report of a hunting accident.
2:50 PM: Report of an underage vaping violation.
3:59 PM: Report of a Spink County prisoner (Out on a furlough) was arrested for committing more felony thefts. Man is now in custody again.
4:38 PM: Man in office for an Enhanced concealed weapon permit.
6:20 PM: Deputies served court and civil papers.
7:31 PM: Report of a reckless vehicle near Zell.
7:35 PM: 911 call from kids playing with an old cell phone. ( Parents, again, please do not let your children play with an old cell phone. Even if the phone is not active, it will still call 911. These calls could delay an actual emergency call)
8:01 PM: Report of a car/deer collision.
9:12 PM: 911 call from an Oklahoma man here hunting reporting that his wife was in Oklahoma, locked in the bathroom with a gun, fearing that someone was in their home. Dispatcher called the appropriate law enforcement agency to send assistance.
10:35 PM: Deputy discovered a Redfield business unlocked.
11:59 PM: Sheriff's note: Busy day is finally over. Many calls for service. All staff did a "Great" job.

11-13-18
5:00 AM: Report of cows out near Turton.
7:00 AM: 911 call reporting a car/deer collision and that the deer was still alive. (2)
9:43 AM: Prisoner held in Faulkton requested a dental work.
10:07 AM: Minnehaha County notified office they had a woman in custody regarding our warrant.
11:09 AM: Sheriff arranged transportation for a prisoner held in southern Texas to Elk Point SD, where the Sheriff would transport him to Faulkton.
11:54 AM: Woman from eastern South Dakota reported a Spink County man has been sending unwanted text messages to her.
12:03 PM: Un-intended 911 call.
12:25 PM: Deputy took a truant juvenile female into custody and took her back to school.
1:33 PM: Man was fingerprinted for employment purposes.
2:48 PM: 911 call reporting a domestic fight at Countryside Estates in Redfield.
4:00 PM: 911 pocket dial.
4:18 PM: Woman reported that someone had vandalized their vehicle and had also cut the leash for their dog.
5:28 PM: 911 call reporting a car/deer collision.
5:38 PM: Woman reported children playing on a road and that the parents did not care.
6:43 PM: 911 call reporting rocks blowing off from a semi near Doland.
7:46 PM: Deputy delivered a death notification.
9:36 PM: Man questioned if a woman was in custody for DUI .
