On Friday afternoon, November 16th, just after 2p.m., Daniel Stahl, of Groton, lost control of his semi on a patch of ice three miles East of Redfield. The semi jackknifed across the road, blocking traffic in both lanes. The South Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the accident. It was a non-injury accident, but the semi obtained disabling damages and was towed from the scene. The accident scene was reported clear at 4:30 p.m.
