Redfield Fire Department purchases water rescue raft and suits

The Redfield Fire Department has purchase a motorized inflatable raft for water rescue. This light weight motorized raft can be used either in open water retrievals or if someone should happen to break through thin ice it can also be used in that capacity. The rescue raft was purchased with donations made by two families in Redfield. Arlen Rude estate donated half the money needed and Kurt and Micki Permann donated the rest of the money needed for the equipment. Along with the rescue raft the Fire Department purchase several cold water rescue suits pictured.
