The Redfield FCCLA Chapter volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Sioux Falls on Saturday, November 23.
Prior to the visit, the Redfield Elementary School participated in a pop tab drive as well as a book and stuffed animal drive to collect these items and others for the Ronald McDonald House.
The school and FCCLA chapter donated 103 lbs. of pop tabs, 310 books, 138 stuffed animals, 13 blankets, and a frozen meal that was prepared serve to residents at the house. The FCCLA chapter also gave the RMH a check for $300, the profits from a FCCLA craft activity.
While at the RMH, the students helped clean and organize storage rooms. The students also had the chance to view the new renovations taking place in the rooms at the house.
