On Friday, November 30th, the Redfield Elementary first, second and third graders performed their annual Winter Concert under the direction of Mrs. Cherie Lunstrum and Mr. Ian Krekelberg. The musical, named "It's Christmas, Carol!" is a twist on the classic "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. Written by John Jacobson and Roger Emerson, the musical centers on the lives of elves busy at work under the lead elf, Carol, who mirrors the classic Ebenezer Scrooge. During the musical, Carol "The Grump" is also visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, played by Madison Hardin, Lorena Evans and Aleah Bebo. At the end, Carol , played by Charli Martinmaas, experiences a change of heart.
