Reba Ranazzi passed
away peacefully
on Saturday, April
16, 2022, in Citrus
Heights, California.
Reba Jo Kloss was
born to Harold and
Helen Kloss on August
29, 1953, in Huron,
SD. She was born
on her sister Faye’s
birthday, and was the
fourth of five daughters.
Reba was raised
in Tulare, SD and
graduated from Tulare
High School, Class
of 1971. Reba graduated
from Methodist
School of Nursing
in Mitchell, SD, and
became a registered
nurse. Reba’s career
took her to Minnesota,
Florida and then to
California where she
met her future husband,
John Ranazzi.
Reba and John had
one son, Alexander
John Ranazzi.
Reba was a terrific
nurse and specialized
in cardiac care units.
Her bright personality
and the humor
she found in almost
everything was enjoyed
by her patients,
and treasured by her
family. Reba was a
wonderful mother to
Alex, loved camping
and volunteered in
the Rose Circle from
church and crocheted
many beautiful blankets
for Project Linus.
Reba will be missed
by her son, Alex and
her four sisters and
their families, Karen
(Layne) Hopkins of
Mankato, Minnesota
and daughter Ranae
Lacey and family;
Faye (late husband
Donald) of Fairmont,
Minnesota, and daughters
Julie Heppler
and Sharie Barr and
families; Patrice White
of Davis, California,
and sons Adam White
and Aaron White; and
Luzanne (John) Martin
of Woodland, California
and son Samuel
Martin. Reba was preceded
in death by her
parents, grandparents
and brother-in-law,
Donald Miller.
Reba’s sisters appreciated
the wonderful
and attentive care,
support and love their
nephew Alex gave to
his mother.
At Reba’s request,
there will be no
services. Messages
of condolence can be
forwarded to Alex
Ranazzi, 7819 Auburn
Woods Drive, Citrus
Heights, CA 95610.
