On Tuesday October 10th cheerleaders and members of the Redfield FCCLA and FFA chapter held a Pink Night fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness at the home volleyball game against Warner. The members sold watermelon icees, SDSU raspberry revel ice-cream, basket filled with pink items for a raffle, chuck a duck, and breast cancer awareness bracelets. The FCCLA chapter also involved the Redfield High school art classes to help promote Pink Night at the volleyball game. The High School Volleyball team sold pink shirts to raise money for breast cancer. The money that was raised from the shirts, FCCLA, and FFA fundraisers went to a local recipient who is battling breast cancer. The total amount that we were able to raise and donate was $850.
