Northwestern School going virtual due to more coronavirus cases

Staff report

Northwestern Public School located in Mellette, Spink County is again going virtual due to a spread in coronavirus cases among students. The decision was made last week on February 3rd that students would enter remote learning for the remainder of the week and continue their schooling from home throughout this week.

“There will be no home sporting events or away events until Friday, February 12th when we host Wilmot in a double header basketball evening,” stated Northwestern Superintendent, Ryan Bruns in an email to parents.
