Construction of the new building east of Shopko at 628 West 2nd Street is coming together quickly, as seen above. The building will be a new USDA Service Center in Redfield and existing offices will be moved to this location. The center will house the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service and Rural Development agencies. Deed holder of the land, Paul Moriarty, said that the building is set to open to the public sometime this spring.
