Staff report
The Redfield Memorial Day program was held on Monday, May 31st, 2021, at 10a.m. at the Redfield High School. Afterwards, services were held at the cemeteries in Redfield and Frankfort where flags were placed on veterans graves in both Greenlawn and St. Bernard’s cemeteries. Jim and Deborah Burdick’s family also sponsored an event on Friday, May 28th to put flags on all veterans graves. Water and cookies were provided by Hyke Funeral Home afterwards.
Other Memorial Day services to honor fallen veterans were likewise held throughout Spink County on Monday.
