Funeral liturgy for Linda Rene` Uttenhove, 69, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Saint James Catholic Church in Douglas, Wyoming with Father Tom Kadera as the Celebrant. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel in Douglas. Inurnment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Linda Uttenhove died Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas.
Linda was born November 12, 1947 in Redfield, South Dakota the daughter of Edward Robert and Charlotte Helen (Benning) Wernsmann. She was raised and educated in Redfield and graduated from the Redfield High School in 1966. She was married to Terry Uttenhove in Redfield on November 19, 1966 and they later divorced.
The Uttenhove family moved about South Dakota and Wyoming because of Terry’s job doing road construction. They settled in Douglas in 1977, where Linda resided until the time of her death.
