Lien Promoted to Manager of the Dakotaland Federal Credit Union Redfield Branch
REDFIELD — Sandy Lien was recently promoted to Branch Manager of the Dakotaland Federal Credit Union location in Redfield. Lien has over 10 years of experience with the credit union and was employed with Turtle Creek Federal Credit Union at the time of the Dakotaland merger in 2012. As branch manager, Sandy will oversee daily operations, manage 4 credit union staff and a growing membership. “An employee who truly cares about our members and the community in which they live and serve is a gift to any organization. Sandy brings those qualities, as well as a wealth of valuable experience to the position” commented Chad Moller, Dakotaland’s Chief Growth Officer.
Lien has been a Redfield resident for 26 years and has witnessed first-hand the impact a credit union can make on a community. She is grateful to have Dakotaland in Redfield. Being in a smaller office, Sandy has the opportunity to wear many hats. She can be found working in the teller line, but also enjoys working with Member Services and the management team. “I am so glad to be a part of Dakotaland. My co-workers in Redfield are amazing to work with, and we are thankful for the support we receive on all levels of the organization." declared Lien.
Sandy and her husband, Wally, are the parents of 3 grown children, and proud grandparents of 9. In their spare time, Wally and Sandy manage the office and property of the Peterson-Bahde-Coleman Midrise Apartments in Redfield where they reside. The facility is comprised of 20 units and Sandy enjoys a great relationship with the tenants. Ms. Lien also volunteers on the Redfield City Library Board.
Dakotaland Federal Credit Union has locations in Huron, Volga, Brookings, Madison, Redfield, Aberdeen, De Smet, Mitchell, Watertown and Woonsocket. With 40,000 members and $500 million in assets, Dakotaland continues to be locally owned and operated offering a full-line of financial services to its membership since 1935.
