Leesch retires, Redfield Press welcomes new office manager

Two months into her sixth year at the Redfield Press, Office Manager Deb Leesch has reached the age of retirement and has gone on to spend her days helping at the Fisher Grove golf course, substitute teaching at the Redfield Public School, and fitting some rest and relaxation in. With her extensive knowledge of the people of Redfield and her ability to do her job well, Ms. Leesch will be missed. However, our new Office Manager, Kayla Understock, will be filling her shoes and we are excited to have her on board.
Following is a short piece by Mrs. Understock introducing herself:

I am the youngest of three daughters born to Delvin and Barb Sheridan, formerly of Ashton. Raised on our family farm, I grew to find a passion for animals. After high school graduation, I went to college in Mitchell.  I am blessed with two nieces from my oldest sister and two nephews from my other sister.  In addition I also have one niece and one nephew from my brother-in-law, whom I am also blessed to have brought into my heart. My amazing husband, Eric, our precious son, Ayden, and myself live in Tulare. Oh, and I can't forget to mention my little fur baby, Mox, the Yorkie. He is part of our family and loved dearly.
Some hobbies I enjoy are reading, writing, riding ATV, crafting, making art of all kinds, anything to do with animals, and, most importantly, spending time with my loved ones.
My predecessor, Deb Leesch, has been a complete joy to work with this past week. She is very helpful in learning the swing of things at our newspaper. I will definitely miss her. During her time at the paper she has been an absolutely amazing employee, so I will have a lot to live up to. I am excited to be the new office manager at the Redfield Press and I look forward to seeing all of the customers.
