Frank Krumm came out as the newly elected sheriff of Spink County on Tuesday evening, June 5th, 2018, with 511 votes. Opponents Isaac Appel and Shane Croeni received 407 and 275 votes, respectively.
Krumm will be training under Spink County Sheriff Kevin Schurch for six months before taking office and will be taking his seat as Spink County Sheriff with more than 30 years of law enforcement experience.
