In June of 1962, she married Marvin Jungwirth in Athol, SD. They lived in Athol until 1968 when they moved to their farm west of Athol. Together they made it their forever home with their six children.
Judy was an active member of the VFW club, as well as the St. Mary’s Altar Society. For many years, Judy was the news contributor for the Athol area to the Redfield Press newspaper. On April 11, 2002, the good Lord called her beloved husband of 39 years home.
In October of 2004, Judy married Gary Watson. They left Cheyenne, WY in 2008 and made their home in Rolla, MO to leave the harsh winters behind. They spent their days outside, as Judy loved her flowers and growing things.
