An Evening of Piano

The Redfield Area Concert Association announces “An Evening of Contemporary Piano with Jason Farnham”.   Members and ticket holders in the RACA are in for a real treat with its upcoming concert scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, 2019 when Jason Farnham takes the stage at the SDDC Auditorium which is handicapped accessible using the West entrance.  Jason will perform his signature piano show “An Evening of Contemporary Piano” at 7:30 pm.

Jason Farnham of San Francisco Bay, CA is truly the “International Entertainer of Contemporary Piano Music”.  Fans have affectionately dubbed him “Schroeder” from Peanuts because of his toy piano, his witty Victor Borge-style piano comedy antics and the clever way he interacts with the audience.  The newest addition to his piano show has become his staple track:  Fur Elise with a techno-rock beat: “Fur Crying Out Loud Elise, Let’s Dance!” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Rondo Alla Turca has become “Rondo Alla Techno”.  Fans of Mannheim Steamroller and rich piano instrumentals will find much to love here.  Jason Farnham is a first-class entertainer, and his show is sure to leave the audience smiling.

Admittance to this, and all RACA performances, is by Season Membership in the Redfield Area Concert Association. Membership prices are $45 for an Adult membership, $95 for a Family membership (two adults and children), and $15 for a Student membership (high school and younger).  For more information contact Mary Ellen at 472-2991.  Parents, please note that free tickets for Redfield students are available to our concerts by contacting Mr. Kenney at the Music Department of the Redfield School.

In Redfield, rides to the performance are available by calling Spink County Public Transit at 472-1552.

Bussing to the other area concerts is available as well, depending upon interest.
