Highway 212 bridge replacement near Redfield underway
Work to replace the bridge on Highway 212 west of Redfield has begun. The construction zone covers US 212 from .50 mile west to .25 mile west of Junction US 281. A semi-truck/oversize vehicle detour route is being provided via Highway 26.
Meanwhile, a regular vehicle detour route will be directed through the town of Redfield.
The tentative date for complete closure of the bridge was Monday, April 10 and the 3.5 million dollar project is expected to be completed by Oct. 14, 2017.
