First annual Prince and Princess Ball held at Redfield Armory

Posted

With an Armory full of squeals of laughter and dancing children, the first Annual Prince and Princess Ball Fundraiser hosted by the Redfield Discovery Program took place on Sunday afternoon, February 10th.
The Redfield Discovery Program was created by Caitlin Hoots, Staci Uzzle, Heather Roach and Jordann Hansen in 2017 as a “program developed to expand the opportunities for families, children and young adults to meet eachother, engage in family oriented activities and have fun.”
Funds that were raised during the Prince and Princess Ball will be used (along with help from other community organizations, businesses and family donations) to continue to offer all Discovery Program activities at little to no cost to the families in the Redfield community.

“The best part about the Discovery Program activities is they involve the whole family - children must always be accompanied by an adult, so we have found that the whole family is getting involved and making lasting memories,” said Heather Roach, a Discovery Program founder.

The night consisted of pictures of the prince or princess and their date by Appel of my Eye Photography, a grand march for friends and family to watch, a meal, and entertainment by the DJ Doctor. Decorations were done by Country Classics Janet and Terry Kegler.

“It was a beautiful night and everyone had so much fun. Can’t wait till next year!” said Roach.
