During the mid-afternoon of Thursday, September 24, a call was placed to the Spink County police station concerning a reported fire at the Community Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. Multiple firetrucks from the Redfield Fire Department, Spink County law enforcement and Emergency Manager Larry Tebben rushed to the scene, but found it to be a false alarm.
