Donna D. Glasford Sante, 86, of Clark, SD, and formerly Redfield, SD, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Avantara in Clark, SD.   

     Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers family prefers memorials.   

     Arrangements are pending with Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., Aberdeen.   

     Donna D. Sellin was born on June 20, 1936, to George and Irene (Fix) Sellin in Norfolk, Nebraska. She attended school in Norfolk and furthered her education at the Lutheran School of Nursing in Iowa where she received her registered nursing degree.   

     On December 7, 1957, Donna married Charles Glasford in Norfolk and together they had six children. Charles died in 1974. On May 28, 1994, Donna married Carl Sante. They made their home in Redfield, SD, before moving to Roetell Senior Living, and lastly Avantara, both in Clark, SD. Donna worked at Americana Nursing Home, and later, was a State inspector for South Dakota. After retiring, she continued to work in the nursing field in some capacity.  

     Donna enjoyed reading and Bible study. She loved to travel, especially to visit children and grandchildren, and cherished the time she had with her family.   

     Grateful for having shared Donna’s life are her husband, Carl Sante; children: Kent (Elsa) Glasford, Barry (Sandra) Glasford, Aaron (Brenda) Glasford, Shaun Glasford, Noel (Heather) Glasford; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Stangle; and Carl’s Children: Shirley (Greg) Swanson. David (Ruth) Sante, and Bonnie (Chris) Brinegav, and families.   

     Preceding Donna in death are her parents, George and Irene Sellin; husband, Charles Glasford; son, Todd Glasford; sister, Ila (Ed) Haas; grandparents, aunts and uncles.
