Debra “Deb” Jane (Wiechmann) Rahm, 66, of Doland, SD, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. 

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Turton, SD.  A prayer service will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Greg Tschakert officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Debra Jane Wiechmann was born to Tom and Jo (Gilreath) Wiechmann on August 13, 1955, in Mitchell, SD.   She grew up in Bagley, MN and moved to Huron, SD in 1973.  Deb graduated from Huron High School in 1974.  In 1979, she began working for Raven Aerostar where she remained for 17 years. 

Deb married Larry Rahm in 1996 and helped on the farm driving grain carts.  She loved her family, friends, and life on the farm.  Playing cards, especially canasta, and putting puzzles together were favorite pastimes.  Deb was a Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoyed traveling.   

Grateful for sharing Deb’s life are her husband Larry of Doland; and children:  Rick (Tasha) Passenheim and their children Austin and Marlee of Brookings, SD, and Kenny Passenheim of Doland.   She is also survived by her siblings:  Gayle (Ron) Pete of Burley, ID, Gary (Pam) Wiechmann of Las Vegas, NV, David Wiechmann of Woodbury, MN, and Nadia (Karl) Herrera of Las Vegas, NV; and step-siblings:   Allen Kliewer, Ronald (Cindy) Kliewer, Kristine (Darrel) Johnson, Michael (Barb) Kliewer, and Randy Kliewer. 

She is preceded in death by her father Tom Wiechmann, mother Jo Kliewer, and stepfather Milo Kliewer.
