Cookie Day raises more than $3,000 to help cure childhood cancer
The annual “‘C’ is for Cookies Not Cancer” Day was held for its eighth consecutive year on Friday, October 4th at the Redfield Public School. Throughout the day, volunteers baked cookies of many different varieties and sold them in the school hallway.
More than 6,000 cookies were sold and $3,200 was raised to help cure children with cancer. The money raised went to Children’s Miracle Network and Cure Kids Cancer.
