Community Memorial Hospital implements more COVID-19 precautions

Community Memorial Hospital and Redfield Clinic have been working for weeks to prepare for the COVID-19 pandemic. The facility immediately began planning for the care of patients infected with COVID-19 and also implemented actions to protect our patients and community.

Redfield Clinic recently opened a respiratory clinic in a separate location from the clinic building. This separation ensures that patients cared for in the Redfield Clinic building are not in the same location as those with respiratory illnesses or COVID-19. Redfield Clinic is now considered a “wellness” area so patients can have their healthcare needs met without the fear of COVID-19 exposure.

All patients are encouraged to call before coming. There is not a walk-in clinic at either location. Patients are screened on the phone and scheduled in the appropriate clinic. When arriving, all patients are given a mask, asked to wash their hands, and taken to an exam room. Patients should call 605-472-0510 to make an appointment.

Community Memorial Hospital and Redfield Clinic is grateful for the outstanding support form their patients and community.
