On Saturday February 16th in the early hours of the morning, approximately 15 to 20 Redfield firefighters hustled to respond to a call. Located in the parking lot of Heartland State Bank was a car going up in flames. An anonymous source on the local Fire Department stated that the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Firefighters had the flames put out in approximately 30 minutes the source estimated. Redfield Fire Department is a volunteer department which our community is lucky to have.
